Feel & Drape
Made from natural silk, our Vietnamese silk fabrics have a naturally smooth and soft feel with an elegant, fluid drape. Depending on the weave and weight, some designs may feel lighter and more delicate, while others may have a slightly more structured drape.
Silk has a beautiful natural lustre that reflects light softly, giving garments and handmade creations a refined and luxurious appearance.
Opacity
Opacity varies depending on the colour, weave and weight of the silk. Lighter colours and lightweight designs may appear semi-sheer, while darker or heavier fabrics may provide greater coverage.
We recommend pairing silk with lining fabric when additional coverage is desired. A 1-metre stretch lining fabric is included free with every order.
Stretch
100% natural silk generally has little to no natural stretch. The amount of give may vary slightly depending on the weave and construction of the individual fabric.
If stretch is important for your project, please check the individual listing details or contact us before placing your order.

Colour Disclaimer
We do our best to photograph each fabric as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in lighting during photography, screen settings and individual device displays, the colours shown may vary slightly from the actual fabric.
Natural silk can also reflect light differently depending on the viewing angle, which may cause the colour and sheen to appear slightly different in photographs or under different lighting conditions.
If you have any questions about a particular colour or would like additional photos, please don't hesitate to contact us before placing your order.
Stock
Most designs are kept in stock and are ready to ship. Occasionally, some fabrics may need to be specially ordered from our supplier, which typically requires an additional 3–5 business days before dispatch.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order fabrics, we will ship them together once all items are ready.
Cut Length Disclaimer
Multiple metres of the same fabric purchased in a single order will be supplied as one continuous piece whenever possible. However, fabric availability may vary, and some pieces may have irregular edges, minor variations or small imperfections due to the natural characteristics of the fabric.
As silk is a delicate natural fibre, slight variations in texture, weave or surface appearance may occur and should not necessarily be considered defects.
If we discover any significant imperfections that prevent the fabric from being supplied in one continuous length, we will contact you promptly to explain the situation and discuss the available options before dispatching your order.
Care Instructions
As 100% natural silk is a delicate fibre, gentle care is recommended to help preserve its softness, colour and natural lustre.
When in doubt, hand wash gently in cold water using a mild detergent specifically suitable for delicate fabrics. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, excessive rubbing and soaking for extended periods.
Do not wring or twist the fabric. Gently press out excess water and lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight.
If ironing is needed, use a low-temperature setting suitable for silk and preferably place a protective cloth between the iron and fabric. Always check the care requirements of the individual fabric before washing or ironing.
